Donate to a Replacement Training Mannequin
Training mannequins have been a cornerstone tool in the education offered by WLAER. We have used two articulated recumbent rubber mannequins and one fiberglass standing mannequin to create learning opportunities that focus on an environment that enhances rescue techniques, offers repeatability, and reduces the risk of injury to participants. The mannequins we have been using show the wear our successful program has put on them. We have repaired and maintained the two articulated mannequins as well as possible, but it's time to consider replacements. In addition, we are looking at adding a bovine mannequin to our training herd. Your donation will go directly to the mannequins that have been so critical for our success.
the potential exists for sponsor logos to be embedded in the material utilized to make the mannequin. Contact us directly if interested in logo recognition.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on our community's support. Local individuals, businesses, and organizations have helped us do amazing things, from successfully rescuing animals to training first responders around the state.
With your help, we can continue to work toward our goals of:
• Increasing the number of positive health outcomes associated with the handling of large animals during emergencies while increasing the safety and efficiency of first responders and veterinarians
• Providing an efficient, well-trained, and specialized emergency team response for large animal emergencies
• Creating a model for future county and state response
We hope that, in the future, veterinarians and first responders across Wisconsin will have the tools and training to respond successfully to large animal emergencies.
Your donations are tax-deductible and essential to our success!

These funds will be utilized for educational purposes only. Examples of ways these funds can and have been utilized:
To fund individuals and organizations that would otherwise not be able to attend animal rescue training. These funds will be distributed at WLAER's discretion, but consideration will be given to the donor's suggestion.
To support additional opportunities for our volunteers to receive continuing education that furthers WLAER’s ability to offer training and emergency response capabilities.
Help Fund a Response and Training Boat
Water response in Wisconsin and around the United States has become a significant reality. WLAER, in staying current with FEMA resource typing, has identified the need for an Animal Search and Rescue response located in Wisconsin that can respond within the emergency/disaster response framework. To meet this need, WLAER must add boats capable of supporting cattle and horses in water. The utilization of inflatable and jon boats is indicated and recommended. While these craft can support large-animal rescue, their use for small-animal evacuation and rescue is also recognized.
