Help Fund a Response and Training Boat

Water response in Wisconsin and around the United States has become a significant reality.  WLAER in staying current with FEMA resource typing has identified the need for an Animal Search and Rescue response located in Wisconsin that can respond within the emergency/disaster response framework.  To meet this need, the addition of WLAER boats capable of supporting cattle and horses in water is necessary. The utilization of inflatable and jon boats is indicated and recommended. While these craft can support large animal rescue their utilization to support small animal evacuation and rescue is recognized.

Sponsor a Replacement Training Mannequin

Training mannequins have been a cornerstone tool in the education offered by WLAER. We have utilized two articulated recumbent rubber mannequins and one fiberglass standing mannequin to creating learning opportunities that have focused on an environment that enhance the techniques utilized for rescue and offers repeatability while reducing the risk of injury to the participants. The mannequins we have been using are showing the wear that our successful program has put upon them. We have been able to repair and maintain the two articulated mannequins but the time has come to consider replacements. In addition, we are looking at adding a bovine mannequin to our training herd. Your donation will go directly to the mannequins that have been so critical for our success.

the potential exists for sponsor logos to be embedded in the material utilized to make the mannequin. Contact us directly if interested in logo recognition.
